Author Guidelines

1. Manuscripts should be submitted in ".doc," ".docx," or ".rtf" format and should conform to the specified template (download here).

2. The title should be written in Indonesian or English using the "Capitalize Each Word" format. Cambria font should be 16pt, single-spaced, and justified. Maximum 15 words should be used.

3. The author's identity should include the full name, without titles, affiliations, and the corresponding email address.

4. The abstract should be written in English and should cover the criminal law issue, research methods, and research results. This section should be 200 words long, typed single-spaced, Cambria font, 12pt.

5. Keywords should be written in English and describe the main research problem. They should consist of 3-5 words, either single words or phrases, referring to words in the title or implied in the discussion. They should be typed single-spaced, Cambria font, 12pt.

6. The "Introduction" section is written in Indonesian or English and includes: (a) a legal review; (b) facts discovered by the author; (c) relevant previous research; (d) relevance to global issues; (e) relevance to specific theories; (f) problem formulation; and (g) the need for discussion of the problem formulation. References are compiled using the Mendeley application (style: American Psychological Association 7th Edition). This section is 500-1000 words long, using Cambria font, 12pt, 1.15 spacing, and justified.

7. The "Research Methods" section is written in Indonesian or English and includes: (a) type of research; (b) approach used; (c) type of data used; (d) data collection techniques; and (e) data analysis techniques. References are compiled using the Mendeley application (style: American Psychological Association 7th Edition). This section is 200 words long, using Cambria font, 12pt, 1.15 spacing, and justified.

8. The "Discussion" section is written in Indonesian or English and contains the research results in accordance with the problem formulation. This section includes: (a) answering the research problem or showing how the research objectives were achieved; (b) interpreting the findings; (c) integrating the research findings into the established body of knowledge; and/or (d) developing a new theory or modifying an existing theory. In this section, researchers can replace the word "Discussion" according to the problem formulation. References are compiled using the Mendeley application (style: American Psychological Association 7th Edition). This section is 2000-3000 words long, using Cambria font, 12pt, 1.15 spacing, and justified.

9. The "Conclusion" section is written in Indonesian or English and contains the key findings. Authors may add suggestions. This section is 200 words long, using Cambria font, 12pt, 1.15 spacing, and justified.

10. The "References" section lists all sources cited in the article. A minimum of 15 references, with more than 50% of the references coming from scientific journals published within the last 10 years, should be compiled using Mendeley (style: American Psychological Association 7th Edition). This section should be written in Cambria font, 12pt, 1.15 spacing, and justified.
